Petronas  Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur

The majestic Petronas Twin Towers

This magnificent building of Malaysia is initiated by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, making Malaysia recognizable and renown in the world. Based on my reading,  the towers is at a height of 451.9 metres with 88 storeys. Both building are joined at the 41st and 42nd floor. It is said that every floor plan is based on the ancient Islamic arts, each other with 213 571 sq. ft..

The 41st level

The towers comprise of six shopping levels which connected to each other by an air bridge. For those who wanted to go downwards, you just use the normal elevator but those who wish to go upwards, you must use the elevator to the sky bridge before changing into another elevator. The existence of the bridge eases people to move from one tower to another, unlike other twin towers such as New York World Trade Center. The bridge is open for public and all visitors who intend for recreational purposes need to get a ticket and a visitor pass.

                The Sky Bridge

I like the Symphony Lake which situated behind the KLCC park. I get to witness a very beautiful and graceful dancing water in front of my eyes. It is colourful too. You just have to spend some time here and enjoy the majestic show. Here is a video to give you a picture of what I am telling about.

It is so amazing, right? What do you think? I enjoy the show more at night compare on the evening. Try both sessions and share your thoughts later, okay?

Have you ever heard of Petrosains? It is a Science Discovery Centre which applies an interactive approach to deliver the story of the science and technology of the energy industry towards public. It occupies level 4 and 5 of both tower of the Twin Towers. I used to go there during my primary school trip and it was so awesome, no kidding. I learnt many terms and knowledge about science and technology since then. If you are interested, visit Petrosains for more information.

Shopping spot

I believe you know about Suria KLCC, the shopping heaven. It hosts 320 high-end local and international retailers. You can find designer brands like Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, Versace and Louis Vuitton here. I like the outside area of Suria KLCC where I can enjoy listening to buskers with their guitars, harmonicas and tambourines and people eating street food on the steps. Such a relaxing spot.

That is all I can tell about Malaysia's crown jewel, Petronas twin Towers. Pay a visit here if you have not and witness the beauty of Kuala Lumpur. You are going to love it.

I hope you enjoy your reading. Till next time, peeps.

Good Bye!

Mount Kinabalu, Sabah

 Mount Kinabalu map

Mount Kinabalu is situated in the East Malaysia state of Sabah on the island of Borneo. IMany people claimed that it is the perfect place where you could see breathtaking sunrise from above the clouds. Soaring up at 4095 metres (13 435 feet), it is the tallest peak between the Himalayas and New Guinea. The granite peaks are often veiled by clouds, only visible during a clear day.

Mount Kinabalu

Mount Kinabalu is the centerpiece of Kinabalu National Park (Taman Negara Kinabalu). This park was established in 1964 as Malaysia’s first national park, and designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. I read on the web which said the national park greatly offers outstanding worldwide ideals and believed to be one of the most crucial environmental areas in the world. Visit Mount Kinabalu for further information regarding the tips and planning to hike Mount Kinabalu.

Kinabalu National Park

I have had an experience of hiking a hill before but not yet a mountain. Upon seeing brave people climbing up Mount Kinabalu, I am interested in experiencing one. If you have any experience related to Mount Kinabalu, share it with me! I would love to read them.

Thanks you for reading this entry.

See you in the next post!
